This 2009 SCHS Green Machine Alumni Band performance was recorded at Seminole Stadium on October 9, 2009. The former Indian band members ranged from the class of 1975 right up to class of 2008 graduates. The band was under the field direction of Sharon Lewis Renaud. The flag corps, rifle corps and the majorettes, who deserve hazardous duty pay for their fire baton routine, hit their marks and gave a dazzling display to the wildly cheering hometown crowd. This performance was dedicated to long time SCHS Green Machine band director Mr. Robert Strickland who gave over 30 years of his life instilling the Indian Pride these alumni musicians obviously still display. Sit back and relax and prepare yourself for a journey down memory lane as you watch the Green Machine Alumni Band.

Boosters generally meet the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 in the band room. Dues are $5 for one person's membership for a year. Anyone 18 or older can join. The Boosters provide much of the financial needs of the band through fundraisers and special events such as publishing the annual football program, soliciting halftime sponsorships, and selling items like cookie dough twice a year and poinsettias at Christmas time. The Boosters also enable the band to travel by providing chaperones, drivers for the band trailer, and assistance in loading and setting up equipment.
